LRH 21st Annual North Country Women's Health Conference
Littleton, NH - On Monday, May 14th, more than 350 women from all over New England came together for Littleton Regional Hospital's 21st Annual North Country Women's Health Conference.
Participants from as far away as Connecticut and Rhode Island gathered at the OMNI Mount Washington Resort for this daylong celebration focusing on women's physical and emotional wellbeing. They learned from lectures on important women's wellness issues, visited more than 36 vendors who filled the Presidential Spa & Conference Center, participated in free health screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose, and enjoyed Reiki, Reflexology and free chair massages. Attendees chose from eighteen lectures on traditional and complementary medicine, from osteoporosis prevention and incontinence to rheumatoid arthritis, cardiac care for women, and sleep issues and women's health.
The keynote speaker, Yvonne Conte, a motivational humorist, professional speaker and coach. Yvonne and her company, Humor Advantage, Inc. works with small, medium and Fortune 500 companies. She is a sought after motivational speaker for conferences, conventions, company training and other events as an expert on Laughter, Humor and Joy. In addition to being a radio and TV personality, Yvonne is also a bestselling author of six books including her newest, Cry, Laugh, Cook and Serious Laughter.
