Mom's Morning Out at LRH Community Garden
June 20, 2009
Littleton Regional Hospital's Mom’s Morning Out group reserved a spot in the LRH Community Garden, recently developed to encourage individuals and families to eat healthy, and to provide an opportunity for those who do not have access to gardening or fresh vegetable and fruit.
Moms, toddlers and babies enjoyed a day in the garden planting pumpkin and flower seeds. The group meets weekly on Wednesday, so they plan to tend the garden and watch their crop grow this summer.
